I’m Sonia Colón, a New York City-based Video Producer with a background in journalism, meaning storytelling and editorial standards are my foundation. I’m naturally creative, a visual artist, but equally so operational in my thought processes.
I have experience across video, photo and animation, and I’m especially adept with making complex ideas accessible and digestible for large audiences. I’ve produced high-impact work while working within brand and editorial guidelines, going from concept to delivery.
Even though I moved away from print and more towards brand work journalistic principles have never left me. I feel I still bring a reporter’s scrappiness to my producing, and I’m really aiming at working for organizations that are rooted in strong editorial values.
